Each year the ACT chapter of the Australian Institute of Architects’ Solar House Day event showcases great sustainable, solar passive design in Canberra.

A public lecture and exhibition on a weeknight (gold coin donation entry) is followed by a weekend bus tour, allowing participants to view the region’s best climate-appropriate dwellings. The theme of this year's lecture & exhibition is Hot Housing. 

Light House homes/clients have participated in Solar House Day for many years and we intend to continue supporting this great event.
