We're partnering with EmAGN ACT (Emerging Architects and Graduates Network) and DESIGN Canberra to showcase some of the work of the bright young sparks here in Canberra. The public bus tour will stop at several homes, for around 30-40mins, focusing on the homes of emerging architects that they've either built, bought and renovated or designed.

Often sustainable architecture is associated with deep pockets and matured clients, but here at Light House we're working to create intelligent, sustainable and affordable homes for that middle market as well.

We have two Light House homes on the tour: The Higgins House and our very own Jenny Edwards' House. Both of these wonderful homes designed by one of our fantastic Gen Y architect, Sarah Lebner, and are located next door to each other. 

Our very own Director and Building Scientist, Jenny Edwards, is opening her fresh new Light House home, which we be under construction. Jenny being the inquisitive soul she is, was keen for her home to be a testing ground for new construction techniques and technologies. 

Next door, the Higgins House is nearly identical and will give guests an opportunity to see the model in two different stages.
