We're finalists in two different awards!

We are proud to announce that three (yes, three!) of our Light House homes have been selected as finalists in two sustainability-specific awards. A big thanks to all of our enthusiastic and committed clients and builders - we couldn't do it without you!

2017 Sustainability Awards

According to the editor of Architecture & Design, Branko Miletic, the 2017 Sustainability Awards is Australia’s premier platform to showcase sustainable products and designs.

“These awards recognise companies for their commitment to sustainability – and rewards those who are helping the industry, and society as a whole, to move to a more sustainable future,” said Miletic.

Lawson House is one of five finalists in the Single Dwelling: New category. Check out the other finalists here.

Black Mountain House is one of five finalists in the Single Dwelling: Alteration or Addition category. See the other finalists here.

The winner's will be announced at an Awards Gala Night in Sydney at the end of October, and we have been invited to join a sustainability panel discussion at an event preceding the awards.

2017 HIA-CSR Awards (ACT & Southern NSW)

Jenny's House is a finalist in the Housing Industry Association (HIA) GreenSmart Sustainable Home category. This is particularly exciting as the home has already won the award of 2017 ACT Master Builders Association (MBA) Custom Built Home Less Than 150m².

The winner will be announced at an awards presentation here, in Canberra, at the end of October.

The HIA is Australia’s peak residential building, renovation and development industry association and their GreenSmart awards recognise "the diligent efforts of environmentally-aware residential builders, designers and manufacturers."
